Club Name – Delhi Mayur Vihar
Project Details – On 15 th November, 24 our Respected District Chairman Dr.Manisha Kaushik inaugurated the installation of 16 CCTV cameras at Gurukul in Arya Samaj Mandir located at Dayanand Vihar. The children studying at the Gurukul are from tribal communities of Jharkhand, Bihar and Chhattisgarh areas . Here in Gurukul they study, are taught vocational courses and after 12th are sent for higher education according to their interests. Many students are working now in different cities. Manisha Ji interacted with all the students, caretakers and staff of the Gurukul. The children welcomed Manisha Ji, our Club President and the members present there . They also presented a cultural programme. Manisha Ji was impressed and appreciated the working and efforts of the children and the staff of the Gurukul. Our club also distributed Snacks to the children and the staff present there in the event . The amount spent was Rs 33000/-. Our 9 members attended this project . And this project was done under the Family Welfare Committee.
