CLUB NAME: Delhi Sumadhura Club
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Under the child and family welfare committee, our club decided to help the families who are actually struggling to fulfill their daily needs. In this regard, our club members came to know that the refugees living in the Mazlis Park refugee camp are in urgent need of ration, where around 120 families are staying and struggling to satisfy their hunger. On 23 September 2024, our club members whole heartedly supported and distributed 120 kits of ration in the presence of our CHARMING DISTRICT CHAIRMAN OF 301 DR. MANISHA KAUSHIK. Each kit includes 5 kg atta, 5 kg rice, 1 and a half kg pulses, 1 kg sugar, 1 litre oil , 1 kg salt , 250 gm tea leaves , 100 gm red chilli powder, 100 gm turmeric powder and 100 gm coriander powder. A strong heavy bag was also provided to carry all these essentials. 120 bed sheets with inner wheel logo were also distributed amongst these families. 220 packets of biscuits were also distributed among the 220 kids of this refugee camp. We are overwhelmed seeing the joy on the faces of all families and kids receiving these items. It was a real pleasure for all of us. Rs 160000 spent on this project.
