15th & 16th June 2024 saw the Installation of our Association President 2024-25, Mrs Sunita Jain in Gwalior.
District-301 showed up in large numbers, about 78 members were present in full strength to show their solidarity and support to our respected AP Mrs Sunita Jain.
The Host District welcomed us warmly as we arrived at the venue RVSKVV Auditorium, Thatipur, Gwalior. As the evening unfolded to a cultural bonanza “Utsav “Sankalp ka Mehfil- E- Sama – we saw the arrival of IIWP 2024-25 Mrs Mamta Gupta and dignitaries from across India. After the preliminaries there were Quwaali Presentations from all the Districts -well rehearsed performances which showed the enthusiastic spirit of the Inner Wheel members. Presentations by AC members 2024-25, District Chairmen 2024-25, Batch mates of AP 2024-25 were all a great watch but the Icing on the cake was the beautiful performance by the Association Executive 2023-24 as well as 2024-25. Geared up in Black Western outfits they danced to beautiful numbers and were cheered to resounding applause and appreciation.
The following day 16th June brought in the grand Installation Ceremony of Association President 2024-25 Mrs Sunita Jain.
The overpowering heat and the hot winds did not for a moment deter the indomitable spirit of the Inner Wheel ladies who had travelled far and wide to witness this historic moment.
In a very solemn and dignified ceremony the baton of the Association Team was passed on from the old to the new.
As from our home District AP 2023-24 Mrs Preeti Gugnani was pinned as IPAP 2024-25, AC Member Urvashi Mittal was installed as Association Secretary 2024-25 and PDC Mrs Anita Jain was installed as the National Editor 2024-25. Quite a glorious moment to have three dynamic women from our District 301 as a part of the Association Executive.
It is hard to go into each detail of the brilliant ceremony but I have to mention AP Mrs Sunita Jain’s daughters spoke beautifully and their tribute to their mother was a touching and emotional one that moistened many an eye that day.
After AP Sunita’s inspiring speech- National Goals were unfolded, the Triennial Video was released and information of Zonal Meets were presented.
We were assured of a very interesting, eventful year with positive opportunities for great Service and Friendship in 2024-25.
All of us carried back beautiful memories of the event Sankalp – Ek Behtar Kal Ka…
